What To Expect

Introduction to Tomato Growing, Seed Preparation, and Starting:

Kick off the growing season with us during the first week of March!

Discover the secrets to starting your very own tomato plants, including the innovative double cup method, and learn about creating the perfect environment for your seeds to thrive.

Hands-On Crafting:

Dive into our hands-on, engaging workshop, expertly designed to walk you through the entire process of planting and nurturing your tomato seedlings. Ensure they thrive and make a successful transition to outdoor conditions.

Discover effective techniques to gradually acclimate your seedlings to outdoor conditions, enhancing their strength and resilience.

Identify common tomato pests and diseases, and gain valuable strategies to safeguard your plants and ensure a bountiful harvest.

Take Home Your Creation:

Take home your newly planted seed starts and watch them grow into healthy seedlings! Regularly check your seedlings for any signs of pests or diseases. Address any issues promptly to prevent them from spreading.

In 6-8 weeks, when your tomatoes are ready to transplant, handle the seedlings gently. Use a trowel to lift them from their containers, being careful not to damage the roots and place them into their new location.

When all is done, share your homegrown tomatoes with friends, family, and neighbors. Strengthen community ties and foster a sense of connection through the joy of gardening.
